History of The Empire of G.O.R.

(As Archived by the Grand Historian Brain)

Before the Empire of GOR came to power in the galaxy, the majority of the star systems in Gammagammu Major were self governed and represented by the Gammagammu Galactic Confederation, or GGC. This confederation endured for over five hundred gamma cycles and was composed of thousands of allied worlds. The alliance had a council to represent and protect the sovereignties of every known world within the largest of the three Gammagammu star clusters.

As peace and prosperity abounded, a dominant and fearless species of bio engineered creatures called the Kelubdebaug were rising to power under the banner of a dark empire. They had conquered an entire star cluster commonly known as Gammagammu Minor and were expanding their forces into Confederation occupied systems. Their massive fleets invaded hundreds of star systems and they conquered thousands of sovereign worlds. The Kelubdebaug Empire waged intergalactic war upon the Confederation for ninety-seven gamma cycles. They made slaves of hundreds of species and brought two species, the Jgambii and the Creeketese to extinction. However, there are rumors that some of the Creeketese escaped and took refuge on small planets near the rim of the Prima Cortex.

The Kelubdebaug were ruthless and unleashed a powerful bio/chemical weapon on many worlds that caused entire civilizations and armies to become irrational and destroy one another. It was a galactic pandemic known as the Ditt Syndrome. To this day many star systems are still infected by this unmerciful biohazard, and live under constant quarantine.

After much devastation, the Galactic Confederation elected new military strategists to oversee the entire war effort and figure out a solution to defeat the invading armies. The council appointed key officials of the Gammagammu Operative Regime, and gave them emergency powers to use whatever means necessary to stop the invading menace. This was a mistake the Confederation would later regret.

The Operative Regime was enacted in a coalition effort to drive back and destroy the Kelubdebaug Empire from further annihilation of the systems. The Operative Regime was comprised of cunning elite minds that were knowledgeable in war strategy, weapon technology, and various fields of experimental and exotic science.

As soldiers and pilots from many species were becoming scarce in the Confederation, governments were collapsing, and many resources were thinning out, a new kind of super soldier was designed to win the war. The GOR military strategists under the direction of Doctor Mitzvah, began manufacturing millions of Cy-Clone Soldiers, which were cybernetic enhanced and bio engineered clones. These clones felt neither weak nor hungry, neither was there a need to sleep, and they had no emotion or fear. They could launch assaults on any planet and withstand harsh weather and toxic environments. When not in service they would remain in stasis on board warships and carriers that were being deployed throughout the galaxy.

The Operative Regime also manufactured millions of advanced android and mechanoid officers that could function on board ships for hundreds of gamma cycles. These androids were enlisted as technicians, pilots, and maintenance personnel on board the new Dexathon Dreadnoughts. This relieved many worlds from having to draft new soldiers and personnel from their civilian populations. Only a few sentient beings were stationed on board these dreadnoughts and were assigned as Captains and helm crew.

As gamma cycles continued, the Cy-Clone Soldiers met the Kelubdebaug on every front across the galaxy. New fleets of anti-matter propulsion dreadnoughts were being built and were equipped with every known weapon. These ships dealt havoc on the invading empire and after sixty-seven gamma cycles, the Kelubdebaug retreated back to their star cluster and to this day the war continues. Some of the Kelubdebaug retreated deep into the darkness of the Outer Cortex, a vast expanse of unexplored space. Only a few dreadnoughts pursued them, but never returned.

The Operative Regime maintains control and surveillance of all star systems in order to prevent a reinvasion of the Kelubdebaug. Their mission is to spread the imperialistic ideals of the Gammagammu Operative Regime to every known species. Those that resist are marked as terrorists and rebels to the new regime. To this day the empire controls most of the star systems and is on a conquest to dominate the entire galaxy...
